He was predeceased by: his father Gilbert Stricklen; and his brother Randy Stricklen. He is survived by: his wife Cathy (Sweet); his daughter Brittany Stricklen-Hillyard; his son-in-law David Hillyard of Columbus; his children, Benjamin Stricklen of Eagle Vail, CO and Bethany Stricklen; his son-in-law Scott Hager of Columbus; his grandchildren, Harrison and Elsie Hillyard; his mother Anita Stricklen of Wadsworth; his brother Mike; and his sister-in-law Michelle Stricklen of Lexington, OH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
