She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank McAfee and Ople McAfee; and her husband Huey Ransom. She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Thompson (William), Salzgeber and Kathy Ballash (Michael); her grandsons, Alex Ballash (Laura), Scott Thompson (Candace) and Bryan Thompson; and her siblings, Donald McAfee, Thomas McAfee (Joyce) and Joyce Ritter. She is also survived by her six great grandchildren.
