It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edith Smith of Wadsworth, Ohio, who passed away on October 19, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonzo Ellis and Lona Ellis (Bellomy); her husband Burnest Smith; and her siblings, Homer, Herbert, Hubert Ellis, Linda Rech and Clotene Kelly.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Rutter of Wadsworth, Burny Smith (Lil) of Akron and Elaine Webb (Dave) of Tarpon Springs, Florida; her grandchildren, John, Jason Webb, BJ, Joshua Smith, Billy and Jeanine Rutter; and her siblings, Denny Ellis (Linda) of Georgia, Walter Ellis of Florida, Erma Napier of Rittman and Rita Cavins (John) of West Virginia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitors are asked to wear masks if possible, practice social distancing, and adhere to the posted signs and spacing limitations.
