He was predeceased by: his parents, John Paul Long and Isa Inch (Long); and his siblings, Weldon, John, Paul and Alberta Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores (Bode); his sons, Donald Long (Denise) and Gary Long (Kathy); and his grandchildren, Melanie Thomas (Stefan), Chad Long (Angie), Kristen Lauck (Robert), Sean Long and Jennifer Muckley (Chris).
