He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrill Banfield and Delores Banfield. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Martin of Wadsworth; his children, Jennifer Olewnik (Michael) of Rittman, David Banfield (Amy) of Seville and Julie Carr (Jason) of Wadsworth; his grandchildren, Lily, Ava, Declan, Jacob, Emily, Aubrey, Hannah and Haley; and his siblings, Mary Anne Edwards (Harry) of Wadsworth, Donna Sponsler (Rich) of Wadsworth, Michelle Papp (Kelly) of Akron and Donald Banfield (Tonya) of South Carolina. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
