Deacon Roger Klaas Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Deacon Roger Klaas of Wadsworth, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Klaas and Maralda Klaas (Brimeyer); his granddaughter Courtney; and his sister Helen Weiner. He is survived by: his wife Helen; and his grandchildren, Michael, Jeffrey (Lauren), Brittney Mark (Katie), Anne and Matthew.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (272 Broad, Wadsworth, OH 44281). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Roger's name to the Sacred Heart School Tuition Assistance Fund.
