She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence H. and Ruth Gerwig (Zoeller); her husband Richard J. Goerndt; and her brothers, John E. Gerwig and Clarence "George" Gerwig Jr..
She is survived by: her nephew David Gerwig (Cheri) of Doylestown, OH; her great-nephews, Austin Gerwig and Tyler Gerwig (Kalie); her nieces, Maxine Matovic of Parma Heights, OH and Kelly Waite (Kurt) of Brook Park, OH; her great-niece Jenna Luiere; and also Owen.
