He was predeceased by: his father Luther Sloan; and his former wife Eva Mae (Cook). He is survived by: his siblings, Henry, James, Randy Sloan, Thelma Lucas, Martha Hereford, Manna Colegrove, Avis McCellan and Sarah Bell Lucas; his children, Eva Belinda Rospert (Dan) and Austin Phillip Sloan; his grandchildren, Dr. Daniel S. Rospert and Thomas J. Rospert; his siblings, John (Kay), Luther Jr. Sloan (Wanda) and Frances Ann Bowers (Ron); his stepchildren, Tahna Lilly, Shawn Wahl, Shelly Pietrowski and Dierdra Tabor; his stepgrandchildren, Brooke Cassie, Ryleigh, Trey, Tyler, Zachary, Jacob, Ali and Luke; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Tehyen, Abby and Landon.
