She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Carl Steese and Evelyn Steese of Copley; her husband Bert; her brother Norman Steese (Joan); her daughter-in-law Brenda Barnes; her son Paul Barnes (DeeDee); her brother Larry Steese (Juanita); her grandchildren, Joshua and Jessica; and her stepgrandchildren, Haylie and Colton. She was also cherished by three great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
