He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Carl and Altha Meeks, Sr. (Plumb); his wife Dorothy Louise Higley; his stepmother Garnet Hoover Meeks; and his siblings, Elizabeth Meeks Hoover, Charles "Tag" Meeks and Marlin Meeks.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jeannette Drummond (Tim), Darlene Gibson (Greg) and Cindy Hess (Dean); his grandchildren, Daniel Drummond (Rosie), Adam Drummond (Traci), Jason Drummond, Meghan Hudson (Steven), Ashlee Fitch, Michelle Roach (Harrison), Ryan Gibson (Jessica), Amber Hess and Tyler Hess; his great grandchildren, Abigail, Isabel, Elana Drummond, Logan, Chloe Drummond and Blake Hudson; his siblings, Rebecca Richter, Dan Meeks (Ida Mae), John Meeks and Jessie Clagg; and his niece Sarah Smith.
