It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lestie Wilfong of Vinton, Ohio, born in Paintsville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 13, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Waller and Minnie Waller; her husband Ralph Swayne Wilfong; her children, Russell Wayne Wilfong and Barbara Jean Burgess; her grandson Joshua Andrew Wilfong; her sons-in-law, Dave Whitt and Les Burgess; her siblings, Cecil, Raymond Waller and Nelle; and her grandmothers, Dollarhide Baltimore, Matilda Ann Mollete, Buna "Bonnie" Walter Crum, Beulah Dutton and Eula Fay Waller.
She is survived by: her children, Marsha Fay Whitt, Jerry Alan Wilfong (Joyce) and Mark Anthony Wilfong (Karen); and her grandchildren, Chris Whitt (Kelly), Katie Wilfong, Cari Wilfong-Houser (Mac), Tony Holcomb (Anna), Amber Wilfong-Knight (Mike) and Kayla Holcomb. She is also survived by six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
