He is survived by: his mother Goldie Marie Deel Gilbert; his daughter Brittney Simon (Paul); his grandsons, Aiden of Vinton and Greyson of Vinton; and his siblings, Donnie Gilbert (Tenna), Gary Gilbert of Vinton, Rick Gilbert and Wilma Gilbert. He is also survived by friends and extended family.
