He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Wendell and Mildred Ellen Holcomb (Friend); and his brothers, Leslie Samuel Holcomb, John Richard Holcomb and Charles Lee Holcomb.

He is survived by: his siblings, Tommy Holcomb, Larry Holcomb, Joe Holcomb (Linda Sue), Bill Holcomb, Eddie Holcomb, Connie Shelton (Jesse), Rose Wickline (David) and Tina Holcomb (Larry Rowles). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
