He is survived by: his wife Kay Joyce Miller Place; his children, Barbara Kucera (Michael) of Concord, NC and Ronald Howard Place, Jr. (Karen) of Buffalo, NY; his grandchildren, Anthony Place, Kevin Kucera (Ashley), Katherine Kucera, Jacob Place and Jonah Place; and his brother Kevin Place (Marcia) of Cutler. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
