It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Ron Gilliand of Vincent, Ohio, born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, who passed away on February 10, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Gilliand and Dorothy Frazer Gilliand; his wife Melanie Lou Drake Gilliand; his father-in-law Gerald Drake; his sister Mary Jo Gilliand; and his niece Valerie Stevens.
He is survived by: his sons, Robby Gilliand (Danielle) of Cutler and Ryan Gilliand (Jamie) of Chattanooga, TN; his grandchildren, Brody (Audrey), Abby, Grace, Bryce, Olivia, Jordan, Payton and Selena Gilliand; his mother-in-law Kathryn "Katie" Drake; and his siblings, Roger Gilliand (Karen), Brenda Miller (Roger), Debbie Stevens (Randy), Kathy Lucky (Tony) and Sandy Simmons (Kevin). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
