He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Rae Bills Nichols; his children, Jane Plymale (Mike) of Hurricane, WV, John Nichols (Michele) of Vincent and Brian Nichols of Vincent; his grandchildren, Reece, Stacy, Hunter Nichols and Emma Plymale; his siblings, Juanita McCutcheon (Joe), Orpha Cox, Oval Nichols (Shirley), Faye Griffin (Larry), Charlotte Price (Fred) and Delbert Nichols (Ginny); and his sister-in-law Lila Nichols.
