He was predeceased by: his wife Myrna Treon (Starr); his siblings, Raymond "Bud", Robert Treon, Kathleen Martin, Nellie Bothast, Ada Shoupp and Mary Treon; and his siblings-in-law, Martha Treon, Dottie Treon and Bob Shoupp.

He is survived by: his children, Gail Davidson of Brookville, Sheri Hunter, Tim Hunter of Sarasota, Craig Treon (Linda Miller) of Monroe, Tom Treon and Crissy Treon of Versailles; and his grandchildren, Travis Applegate, Melissa Applegate, Lori Grover (Davidson), Wes Grover, Jandi Brown, Jeff Brown, Jeff Davidson, Tina Davidson, Kylie Treon and Tyler Treon. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
