He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Kevin Marchal, Donald Marchal, Allan Marchal and Michael Marchal; his siblings, Francis "Jerry", Norman Marchal, Mary Francis, Cordelia Knob Wattercutter and Dorothy Hatcher; his siblings-in-law, Bertha Marchal, Joseph Francis, Roger Knob, Robert Wattercutter, Richard Hatcher and Harold Barhorst; his mother-in-law Frank Kramer; and also, Roslina Kramer (Bergman), Urban Kramer, Alfred Kramer, Mary Alice Kramer, Clete Grilliot and John Fleck.

He is survived by: his wife Alvira Marchal (Kramer); his children, Dave Marchal (Carol) of Celina, Ron Marchal (Betty) of Burkettsville, Keith Marchal (Ann) of Versailles, Mark Marchal (Elaine) of North Star, Doris Phlipot (Tom) of Versailles and Ed Marchal (Eileen) of North Star; and his sibling Thelma Barhorst of Ft. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
