He is survived by: his children, Richard Fries, Laura Massey, Julie White (Kevin), Martha Long (Mike), Jonathan Fries (Sarah), Jeremiah Fries (Tabitha), Judith Brooks (Charles), Esther Gibson and Elizabeth Fries; his mother Pricilla Fries; and his siblings, David, Mark, James, Ruth, Kitty, Janet, Beth and Carol. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; an abundance of great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
