He was predeceased by: his sister Alice Swisher; his brother-in-law Jim "Chick" Swisher; his brother Dick Magoto; his sister-in-law Dottie Magoto; and his siblings, Tom Magoto Sr. and Julia Hiatt.
He is survived by: his brother Frank Magoto; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Magoto and Norma Magoto of Greenville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
