It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl William Owens of Versailles, Ohio, born in Oil City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 20, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Owens and Ruth Owens (Wirta); his daughters, Lisa Owens and Angela Owens; and his siblings, Judy Owens, Tommy Owens and Mara Lou Owens.

He is survived by: his daughters, Lacy Owens, Leigh Chappie and Lynn Owens (Andrea Bratcher); his grandchildren, Megan Helmick, Max, Jack Jack Chappie, Anthony Owens and Alyssa Bratcher; his stepchildren, Brenda Sloan (Dan), Daniel Shappie (Litia) and Brandy Shappie; and his stepgrandchildren, Danielle Sloan, Eli, Molly White-Shappie, Samara and Sienna Shappie.

Memorial Contributions be given to the St. Mary's Catholic Church Greenville, Ohio.
