He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Grote and Eva Grote. He is survived by: his wife Joan Grote; his daughters, Angela Randle of Lyon, France, Bobbie Jo Funk of Fairview Park and Elizabeth Healy (Rick) of New London; his grandchildren, Cauletta, Morgan, Ryan, Ronnie, Katie and Parker; his great grandchildren, Kathryn, Alexandrea and Tony; and his brothers, Mike Grote and Donald Grote.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) at P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
