He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertram Bartlett and Mary Bartlett; his daughter Mary Ann Bartlett; and his brother Gregory Bartlett. He is survived by: his sons, Sam Jr. Bartlett (Jennifer) of Marysville and Justin Bartlett of Amherst; his grandchildren, Austin (Talia), Addison, Natalie, Adam, Andrew and Mari; and his siblings, Angus Bartlett (Sandy) of Vermilion, Dennis Bartlett (Renee) of LaGrange, Eileen Abraham (Greg) of Amherst and Kathy Lengyel (Dave) of Lorain. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Gary Sinise Foundation.
