He is survived by: his wife Emily Townsend; his sons, Matthew Townsend (Sherelyn) and Philip Townsend; his grandson Colton Townsend; his brother Kenneth Townsend (David Heyman); his mother-in-law Grace Browell; and his brothers-in-law, Douglas Browell (Elena), David Browell, Richard Browell (Lori) and Robert Browell (Leslie). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
