He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman K. and Mary L. Barber (Sprowl); and his brother Norman Glenn Barber. He is survived by: his children, Joshua Barber, Steven Barber (Amanda) of Monroeville and Christina Goossens (Daniel) of Fremont; and his brother Keith Barber. He is also survived by four grandson, one granddaughter and one grandson.
