He is survived by: his wife Sara Gildenmeister of Vermilion; his children, Nelson Jr. Gildenmeister (Minna) of Broomfield, CO, Jay Gildenmeister (Evelyn) of Howard, OH, Lisa SanGregory (Sam) of Franklin, NC and Gwen Fisher (Craig) of Vermilion; his grandchildren, Brandon Crooks, Chelsea Fisher, Bryce Fisher, Brock Fisher, Nick Gildenmeister, Karissa Whisner, Erin SanGregory, Angela Eldridge and Samantha Everett; his sister Nancy Bilbrey of Bellevue, OH; his mother-in-law Hedel Lachman; and his sister-in-law Sherrie Bates (Brian). He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
