She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Plato and Mary Plato; her daughter Nicola Wade; her sisters, Suzanne Plato and Sheryl Carter; and her stepdaughter Nancy Wade.

She is survived by: her son James "Pete" Wade (Rebecca) of Vermilion; her grandchildren, James "PJ", Molly and Megan Wade; her siblings, Raymond Plato, Tracie Laws, Michael Plato and Barb Plato; and her stepdaughter Patricia Newman.

The family suggests memorial contributions to a Breast Cancer Organization of the donor's choice.
