It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Edward Lalonde of Vermilion, Ohio, born in Amherst, Ohio, who passed away on December 28, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Joseph Michael Lalonde, Jr.; and his parents, Joseph Michael Lalonde, Sr. and Ethel Mae Lalonde. He is survived by: his wife Melanie Ann Lalonde; his children, Sara Lalonde of Vermilion, Stefanie Cole (Steve) of South Amherst and Tom Lalonde (Katie) of Vermilion; and his grandchildren, Aubree, Blake, Annabelle and Austin.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hempel Funeral Home (373 Cleveland Ave, Amherst, OH 44001). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, Wounded Warrior Project, or Stein Hospice.
