She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Sokol; her parents, Earl Smith and Mary Smith; her siblings, Maryann Koceja, Earlene Fichel and Clifford Smith; and her close friend Ronald Cooter Lewis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
