It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwin George Ziemke of Vermilion, Ohio, born in Norwalk, Ohio, who passed away on January 22, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ziemke and Marie Ziemke; his siblings, Don, Jim and Doris; and his son-in-law Dave Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen; his children, Kathy Mitchell of Vermilion and Michael Ziemke (Michele) of Huron; his grandchildren, Matt Mitchell (Teresa), Jennifer Kaffel (Michael), Alison Kleibschiedel (Joseph), Janna Rammuny (Omar), Amanda Grob (Jeff) and David Teasel; and his great grandchildren, Riley, Anthony, Tristan, Zaine, Grace, Audrey, Beckett, Joseph, Lylah, Rocky, Shepherd, Hudson and Mary.
