It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Drena J. Braden of Vermilion, Ohio, born in Beckley, West Virginia, who passed away on December 22, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert A. Braden, Jr.; and her parents, Calvart Pucket and Thelma Pucket. She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Rachel Braden of Lorain and Roberta Kurk (George) of Vermilion; her grandchildren, Jayden, Destiny, Conner and Kristy; and her siblings, Doug Gunn, Mary Peltla, Jane Vanmerr, Shirley Cox, Tina Hotess and Nancy Cartwright. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She loved riding her power wheelchair all around Kingston before Covid hit.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Lakeview Baptist Church, 591 Ferndale Ave., Vermilion, OH 44089.
