He is survived by: his wife Rocelia Smith; his children, Lewis Smith, Candice Johnson and Christopher Smith; his stepchildren, Jamie Casey and John Churchill; and his brother Jon Smith (Pat). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
