It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dawn McKinney of Vermilion, Ohio, who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Dawn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dawn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father Albert Thomas. She is survived by: her mother CarolAnn Thomas; and her husband John McKinney.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Reidy Scanlan Giovannazzo Funeral Home (2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH 44052). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Ridge Hill Memorial Park (44805 N Ridge Rd, Amherst, OH 44001).
