It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clark Akers of Vermilion, Ohio, born in Dana, Kentucky, who passed away on October 21, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie L Akers and Minnie J. Akers; and his siblings, Paul, Vance Lee, Walter, Bradley Akers, Alpha Kidd, Alkie Case, Ruby Conn and Ruth Boyd.

He is survived by: his wife June Akers of Vermilion; his sons, Larry Akers (Barb) of Vermilion, Neil Akers (Cindy) of Vermilion, Wendell Akers of Vermilion and Enos Akers of Lorain; his grandchildren, Carrie Bean (Akers), Jeffrey Akers, Brian Akers and Kristen Breeden (Akers); and his great grandchildren, Tanner, Camden, Jayce Bean, Makenna, Maxton Akers and Lily Breeden. He is also survived by many extended family members, acquaintances and friends.

The family suggests memorial contributions to a veterans organization of the donors choice.
