He was predeceased by: his wife Gwendolyn "Pat" Stowers; his parents, Charles M. Stowers and Clara Stowers; his granddaughter Kiara; his sister Mary Horn; and his half-siblings, Bessie Chutes, Gene Graham, Dowl Graham and Charles M. Graham.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Stowers (Rosemary) of Vermilion, Darren Stowers (Becky) of Oberlin, Darrell Stowers (Danielle Lyons) of Vermilion, Cynthia Casper (Curt) of Huron and Brenda Wheeler (John) of Columbus; and his grandson Andrew Lassen. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
