He was predeceased by: his parents, Thornton Briggs and Lorrine Briggs; and his brother Theodore "Ted" Briggs. He is survived by: his wife Karin Briggs of Vermilion; his children, Melissa Briggs-Phillips (Todd) and Ryan Briggs (Stephanie) of Dublin; his grandchildren, Kincade, Harper Phillips, Daniel and Adelyn Briggs; and his brother Keith Briggs of Vero Beach, FL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
