It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lowder of Vermilion, Ohio, born in Columbia, Kentucky, who passed away on November 6, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rollin H. Montgomery and Mary Maria Montgomery; her former husband Faris Lowder; and her sisters, Novella D. Sparks and Claira Paralee Montgomery.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila A. MacLean (Donald) of Vermilion, Farris Lee Lowder of Vermilion, Mindi D. Alexander (Bobby) of Vermilion, Donald Joel Lowder of Vermilion and Dorian Rollin Lowder (Annemarie Lanham) of Salem, IN; her grandchildren, James "Jimmy" Michael Lowder, Brandon Lee Lowder, Charles "Chase" Robertson and Bowen Rollin Lowder; her great grandchild Berkley Moon Lowder; her siblings, Mary Vermaline Bishop of Clarksville, IN and Joel C. Montgomery of Brownsville, KY; and her half-brother Ronald Gail Montgomery.
