It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andrea McCarthy of Vermilion, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on February 4, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Erin T. McCarthy; her mother Geraldine Cachat; and her grandson Michael Vincent Wiencke. She is survived by: her father Victor Cachat; her daughter Dawn Wiencke (Aaron Baugh); her granddaughter Makenna Wiencke (Ben Botzko); her great grandchildren, Kurt, Lainey and Wesley Botzko; her son-in-law Joe Trinter; her brother Tim Kasler; and her cousin Judy Orne.
