He is survived by: his sons, Clifford Macklin (Pam) of Wauseon and Greg Macklin of Venedocia; his grandchildren, Samantha Loeffler (Kevin) of Santee, California and Caleb Macklin; and his brothers, Clayton Macklin (Dondi) of Lima, Donald Macklin (Bev) of Spencerville and Kenney Macklin (Elaine) of Geneva, Indiana..
