With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald D. Owens of Venedocia, Ohio, born in Lima, Ohio, who passed away on January 24, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Owens and Romaine Owens (Yoh); his stepson Brian McCoy; and his sister Nancy Chaney. He is survived by: his wife Barb Owens (Waltz) of Venedocia; his children, Tim Owens (Carolyn) of Van Wert and Diana Kesler (Bob) of Van Wert; his stepdaughter Nicole Batchelder of Ft Wayne; his grandchildren, Briana Geiger, Becca Haver, Brendon Kesler, Jared Kesler and Brittney Mies; and his brother-in-law Harold Chaney of Michigan. He is also survived by many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Kingsley Church or Venedocia Lions Club.
