He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank A. Klaus and Helen Klaus (Freund); and his siblings, Pat Brandehoff, Tom Klaus, Charlie Klaus and Clara Giesken.
He is survived by: his children, Christine Greer (Eric) of Venedocia and Dan Klaus of Venedocia; his grandchildren, Christopher Greer (Jessica), Shelby Jackson (Ben), Lydia and Alexandra Greer; and his brothers, Edward Klaus (Therese) of Delphos and Keith Klaus (Peggy) of Huntsville, Alabama..
