He was predeceased by: his brothers, Kenneth H. Smith and Kermit Smith; and his sister-in-law Aileen Smith. He is survived by: his wife Martha; his children, Craig A. May (Lora) of Vaughnsville, Denise A. Graham (Eric) of Lima and Rachel E. Barnette (Kevin) of Vaughnsville; his grandchildren, Melissa Clauss (Jason), Tricia Boss, Cara Loehrke (Jeff), Zachary Graham, Tyler Graham, Ashley Graham, Laken Barnette and Brenden Barnette (Ashley); and his brother Ivan D. Smith of Spokane, WA.. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
