He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen E. Eley and Elizabeth May Eley (Jones). He is survived by: his wife Leslie A. Eley; his sons, Barry E. Eley (Aubrey) and Jason S. Eley (Emily); his grandchildren, June Eileen Eley and Jack Emerson Eley; his brother Mark Eley (Lisa); and his sister-in-law Karen Aleshire. He is also survived by his extended family & many good friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Scott to the National Park Foundation.
