Linda J. McCoppin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 27, 2024, at the age of 69, Linda J. McCoppin of Vandalia, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Linda departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Linda. Though Linda may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William McCoppin and Mae McCoppin (Colville); and her siblings, Ricky, Tony McCoppin and Sherrie Ponchot.
She is survived by: her brother Larry McCoppin (Diane); her nieces, Nicole Setser (Ryan), Danielle McCoppin (Andrew Weaver), Sarah Ponchot-Vida and Michelle Baker; and her great-niece Alyssa Vida. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Newcomer - North Dayton Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at the Royal Oak Memorial Gardens (7217 National Rd, Brookville, OH 45309).
