With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Smith of Vandalia, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Virginia, who passed away on July 11, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl B. Smith and Edith Smith (Rasnake); his wife Hattie; his sons, Steve Smith and Robert B. Smith; his brothers, William B. and Carl B. Smith (Pete); and his former wife Bonnie Smith (Marshall).

He is survived by: his stepchildren, Gary Marshall of Vandalia, Glenn Marshall of Atlanta and Robert Marshall of Dayton; his child Jackie Murray (David Murray) of Dayton, Ohio.; his siblings, Iva Deane Reynolds (Jack) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Faye Combs of Cincinnati, Sue Shields (late Jack Shields) of Abingdon, Virginia., Dana Musick (Robert) and Joseph B Smith; his son William B. Smith (Patricia); his stepchildren, Vickie Davis (Terry) of Temecula, California and Allen Marshall (Kathy) of Englewood, Ohio; his grandchildren, Jessica Kaul (Russell B. Smith), Christine Broomhall (Justin B. Smith), Jennifer Kegley (Eric) and Joshua Murray (Jared Murray); and also Joseph B. Smith of Tulsa, Oklahoma.. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren; and, numerous neices and nephews.
