It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Kassaw of Van Wert, Ohio, born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, who passed away on January 31, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Velmer J. Kassaw and Mary Lois Kassaw (Berry); his daughter Leanne Wilson (Kassaw); his grandson William A. Wilson; his siblings, Robert Kassaw (Kathy) and Lillian White; his brother-in-law Donald Maxwell; and his parents-in-law, Kenneth and LaDonna Strayer.
He is survived by: his wife Jane L. Strayer; his daughters, Melissa S. Augsburger (Marc) and Karen F. Garver (Robert); his son-in-law Alan R. Wilson; his sister Betty Maxwell; his brother-in-law Philip Strayer; his grandchildren, Greta Cline (Cody), Taylor Garver, Tanner Garver, Tucker Garver and Molly Augsburger; and his great grandchild Calvin Cline. He is also survived by one great grandchild on the way; and many nieces and nephews.
