He was predeceased by: his parents, Webster Benner and Hannah Benner (Brunner); his siblings, Robert, Ralph, Charles, Ruth Yoder, Regina Moyer and Hannah Bannon; his parents-in-law, Melvin Brandis and Luella Brandis (Reed); and his siblings-in-law, Henry Brandis and Beatrice Brandis.
He is survived by: his spouse Dorothy R. Brandis; and his grandchildren, Annette D'Amelio (Mark), George Huey, Jr., Wayne Gilbert, Jeffrey Huey (Lori), Pamela Schallert (Darren), Brandon Early (Keri), Stephanie Haney (Mark) and Kyle Early (Nicole).
