It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Metzger of Van Wert, Ohio, born in New Haven, Indiana, who passed away on August 27, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Metzger and Heather Metzger (Owen); and his brother Richard "Dick" Metzger. He is survived by: his wife Jean Bolenbaugh; his sons, Michael, Guy (Theresa) and Ty (Tammy); and his siblings, John Metzger (Laura) and Linda Edwards. He is also survived by nieces, his 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
