He was predeceased by: his parents, John Chapman and Mary Lou Chapman (Morey); and his brother Michael Chapman. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann Tripplet; his daughters, April Grimm of Minster, Rebecca Lacey (Edwin Martin) of Phoenix and Kristen Chapman of Oglesby, Illinois; his grandchildren, Matthew Biederman (Ashley), Chase Grimm, Bailey Lacey, Alana Lacey, Kaelynn Lacey, McKenzie Yarger and Dylan Boyle; and his sisters, Teresa Arnold (Richard) of Lima and Anita Chapman (Todd Thuman) of Wapakoneta.
Preferred memorials are to the Humane Society of Van Wert or C.A.L.L. Ministries Food Pantry in Celina.
