He was predeceased by: his father James Howard Lane, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Betty J. Lane (Hammons) of Van Wert; his son Josh Lane of Van Wert; his stepson Brandon Miller of Van Wert; and his siblings, James H. Lane, Jr. of Van Wert and Debra Magowan (John) of Hayward, Wisconsin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
